Viva Las Vegas
Frid 11th (a'noon) to
Mon 14th Jan (morn)
Staying at budget hotel 'Circus Circus' with lots of families from around the world. Great indoor rides but lots of germs. Aidan out for the count on Sat night/Sunday with gastro. In his words, 'Not Cool'. Please pray he gets better soon and that we don't catch it. (Sigh).
Adventure Dome Chiropractic care needed after these rides I think! One ride on the roller coaster was enough for me.
Circus Acts Every hour, at Circus Circus, there are acts like the Flying Trapeze- right there in our hotel; impressive!

Visiting hotels along the 'strip' starting with the budget at our end through to the luxurious hotels at the other end.
When in Vegas there are heaps of quality shows to see. Glad we didn't buy tix online. On the day of any given show you can get almost 1/2 price tix at some hotels for most shows. Neale got us great seat for Illusionist, Criss Angel with Cirque du soleil at the Luxor (Egyptian Pyramid). This has been the highlight of Aidan's holiday but he's ready to come home now that he's feeling ill.
Some of the other cool hotels we wandered around were:
Caesars Palace where you felt like you were walking along breezy streets by the fountain pools even though you were still indoors.
The Venetian with gondola rides, frescos and unusually dressed brides (sorry, no photos of them but they were hilarious!)
MGM grand CSI tour We had hoped to do this tour on Sun but hopefully, if everyone is well, we will be able to do it on Monday before we leave Vegas.
